only it came with a red ring of death. Though this does suck. JUST NOT FOR ME.

I read that yesterday on Slashdot as well. Disappointing. Though I don't have those particular problems, after I updated PS Home, it froze on
initialization. I did a bit of research and found out that the only workaround was to reinstall it. Not a huge deal mind you, as I don't use it that often.
They did have the first episode of the second season of Gunslinger Girl on there, which was kind of nice. I've had a number of freeze-ups during Half-Life:
Episode 2 (1?) and Oblivion, but those were pretty much expected.
I hope they win their suit. Hopefully none of us will experience any problems. It's worth noting the other thread in this forum that I started concerning the 54% failure rate of 360s, while the PS3 only had about 11%. It seems these days that console makers are producing units that just are made for endurance. I hope they learn their lessons from all of this, but something tells me they won't, at least not completely. And the Wii? The lowest failure rate. However, I have had a couple problems with it. I think I got a few freezes when using the Internet Channel, and maybe one or two when heading back to the Wii menu. Also, Force Unleashed exhibited buggy behaviour when certain bosses didn't appear on cue, never showing up at all. Had to go back to another save. :'( Where's QA these days?

Never really had any issues w/ my Wii. I think one time it couldn't read a disc.. I took it out and put it back in and it was fine.
I do wish the internet channel had tabs though. SOmetimes I'll open something and can no longer go back because I guess maybe it opened a new "tab" or "window" and there's no way to go back.

I wish it had tabs too. There's a site I go to somewhat often that also opens popups, which also gets annoying on the Internet Channel. I believe if I just
hit the back button though it goes back to the normal site. Still, it would be nice if it just ignored those popups. However, I hear popup ads are becoming
more sneaky in how they open.

I'm glad nothing bad happened to mine during that THING. It makes me yearn for the simple days of offline gaming and rad cool cartridges.

I second that.

I believe I've JESTED in the past about having the 360 go bad and explode as one of its problems. Perhaps exploding consoles would be a good solution! Dead
consumers cannot complain.
